What Devices Can I Use?
For optimal performance we strongly recommend using iPhone 8 and newer or iPad 9 and newer. iPads provide the best playing experience, but playing on a phone is also fine, and you can screen share your iPhone or iPad to a tv or projector for an even more immersive experience.
My mirror arrived unattached from the frame — what should I do?
Don’t worry! Occasionally the mirror can come loose during shipping. It’s designed to fit securely back into the frame — just align it and press it firmly into place.

Do I Need Synthetic Ice?
No, synthetic ice is not required. You can use any puck, stickhandling ball, tennis ball, golf ball, or lacrosse ball - our advanced AI recognizes them all! For the best experience, we recommend choosing a playspace where the puck contrasts with the surface. The app also works with regulation pucks on real ice.

How Much Space Do I Need?
We recommend a playspace of 54" by 36" for the best HeadsUpHockey experience. However, the setup is flexible—you can adjust the play space size in settings to suit your location.

How Is The Puck Tracked?
We use your devices rear camera to capture visual data, which is then processed by advanced AI algorithms. These algorithms learn the puck’s location and movement, providing real-time tracking during gameplay.
Are There Any Updates Coming?
Yes! We're actively working on several updates huge updates, including new game modes and training features. We are the only training tool that updates with your needs.
Is There a Subscription?
You pay a $59.99 one-time cost for the special hardware, plus a recurring subscription for access to the training software.
